What AMI Stands For

We believe that everyone has something to learn, and every individual has something to teach.  The challenge faced today is that with medical knowledge now doubling every 73 days, how can any individual be expected to keep up?

We set out to develop a platform that could capture, categorize, and refine medical knowledge. A platform that could constantly evolve and be refined with the latest global insights and medical discoveries.  A platform that would find the unbiased truth about what works and what doesn’t.

We still believe that humans help humans, so we wanted to deliver a tool to empower every individual to easily connect to the best medical knowledge. The AMIKnowS tool can augment healthcare providers experience and allow time and the tools for compassionate care to improve healthcare delivery equally not just for this generation and generations to come. This is the legacy that we want to be part of!

Our STORY

Our Team

We are building a team of like-minded individuals who wanted to change the trajectory of the healthcare experience. As a group, we developed a better way, a disruption, an evolution of the way we provide care. A model of how care should work.

Dr. Scot Morris

Chief Development Officer

Who am I and what makes me tick?

For 25 years I have practiced in various clinical settings and served as a technology author, magazine editor, corporate advisor, practice consultant, and prominent educator. I have started or co-founded multiple companies within the eye care industry and have participated in multiple clinical trials. I consistently heard of the challenges in the healthcare industry for providers, patients, companies, and the health system. These include inefficient delivery of care, clinical decision-making errors or oversights, rising costs, access issues, and failure to provide connected care. As a health care provider, I face these same challenges and listen to my patient’s challenges daily in my own practice.

Through all of my various roles, I have focused on how to improve efficiencies in the system, how to market, how to teach students and peers to improve care delivery and reduce medical error. I have focused on professional education and patient literacy, on just about every component of health care through pen and podium. I have built influential industry relationships and motivated people at all levels to change behaviors and evolve in their personal lives and their professional careers. I have been fortunate enough to be voted as one of the 50 most influential people in eye care and one of the top 250 innovators in the industry by my peers. I spent my entire career thinking about healthcare challenges, how to solve them, and educating others to do the same. I have spent my lifetime trying to make things better!
