The AMI Knowledge System, referred to as AMIKnowS™, is a predictive intelligence system designed to help augment providers and patients make better healthcare decisions with on demand access to the latest evidence-based knowledge.

Every setting is different but AMIKnowS™ will allow providers to streamline history taking, diagnostic testing and observation, clinical decision making, and the education process.  Future updates will improve efficiency with operational issues like coding, insurance verification, and scheduling.

You can access AMIKnowS™ on your desktop, tablet, mobile device, or any other device that has access to an internet browser. No other special hardware or software is required.

Though we hope to have full integration in the near future with many companies we cannot promise this because it is not a unilateral decision. The AMI team is working to integrate all the common EHR’s into the AMI Knowledge platform. Since AMIKnowS™ collects dozens of times more data and updates by the minute, EHR integrations are limited by the EHR company’s platforms. Our technology teams are working to make these synchronizations as seamless as possible so you can use the AMIKnowS™ platform to its fullest capacity through the systems you are already familiar with.

Since the AMIKnowS™ intelligence platform is live time, it is updated every few seconds with the newest evidence-based knowledge available. Unlike some software solutions which undergo updates weekly or monthly, AMIKnowS™ is may be updated countless time a day, so providers and consumers alike always have the latest information at their fingertips.

AMIKnowS™ gathers data from many places. AMI has a research team that works diligently every day to search through the latest and best published research to update the knowledge platform. AMIKnowS™ also collect millions of pieces of de-identified pieces of data on a daily basis to search for patterns and trends that may improve the medical knowledge available. This data is then presented on a daily or weekly basis to a team of medical experts to review and suggest changes to the AMIKnowS™ algorithms, knowledge base, and educational tools. The educational content is constantly being developed, presented, and updated by some of the best knowledge experts in the world in a fun and entertaining multimedia format.

The AMIKnowS™ clinical algorithms are constantly being updated with the latest information by a team of subject matter experts who review clinical decision making pattens as well as feedback from users all over the world.

We have gone to great lengths to ensure our consumers’ privacy and that their information is anonymous until they give permission to their provider to download the data. With double security encryptions and download protocols they get to choose who sees their personal health information and when. Their data is just as anonymous to us as a corporate entity as it is to anyone else until the consumer gives permission to see this data.

AMIKnowS™ is currently available in English. We anticipate that we will be adding other languages including Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, and Farsi within the next 5 years.

That is one of the truly amazing features of AMIKnowS™. Providers can choose to have their patient use AMIKnowS™ PRIOR to arriving at the clinical setting of choice to gain insight into the history and potential differential diagnosis BEFORE the patient arrives. Consumers can access their personal health records anywhere and the history taking function can be utilized anywhere you have an internet connection.

Our main focus is to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and overall, all care and experience of both the health care consumer and the healthcare providers while at the same time decreasing health care waste. We do not believe that AMIKnowS™ will replace the health care provider in the near future. There are simply too many hurdles. However, we do believe that health care providers using augmented intelligence will have a significant advantage over those providers who are not and over time the augmented intelligence providers may replace the ones who don’t.

AMI is leveraging end-to-end encryption that encompasses both encryption in motion and encryption at rest.  What this means is that user data between the client and AMI servers is encrypted as well as the user data that is stored in the database is encrypted.
